Description:

A jewel beetle with a broken yellow stripe through each elytron.
Possibly C. elongatula http://www.pinterest.com/pin/88735055131257356/

Habitat:

Found on tea tree in the big desert.

It has been suggested that this is a variation of Castiarina parallela with stronger yellow markings than usual. I like this theory.
