Description:

A bright orange and black leaf beetle with hidden head and long antennae. The elytra are typically too short to completely cover the abdomen.

Habitat:

Supplied to me by Trevor in Brisbane.
I am not certain of the habitat or foodpant but it appears to be polyphagus

Yes, I don't know which one. Brisbane Insects records this on other plants too.
These leaves look like a broad leafed acacia sp.
