Description:
Its a large owl native to the Americas.
<br><br>
Adults have large ear tufts, a reddish, brown or gray face and a white patch on the throat.
<br><br>
Its "horns" are neither ears nor horns, simply tufts of feathers. (That's funny because in spanish is called "Buho orejón" that means big ears owl - and I totally thought those were ears haha)
Habitat:
Found in a tropical forest in northern Colombia.
Notes:
I was walking through the forest and saw this big bird flying, (I thought it was a hawk), then the guides followed it and found it perched in a tree... (the story continues here - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/9332616)
