Description:

Creeping vine of smooth leaves and purple flowers. This is not native and is invasive.

Habitat:

Along trail in Oak forest at Kit Carson park

Notes:

"The California Invasive Plant Council (Cal-IPC) lists plants that cause serious problems in native ecosystems. In the 2006 list, Cal-IPC classifies the statewide impact of Vinca major as moderate (plant profile)" - Calflora
