Field Notes

Description:

Round, white disc with what appears to be wax cells adhered to bottom of a branch with a white substance. I don't know if someone threw something over 15 yards up or if this was made by an Arthropod. I'm hoping this is a dangling bee comb.

Habitat:

About 15 yards high on the underside of a branch in a tree at my other spotting: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/9340334
