Wahlbergs Eagle (pale form)

The head is very different from Wahlbergs, which is also a lot smaller

I can assure you that you sometimes can in Kruger Park where this was taken. The fact that you are not normally allowed to get out of your vehicle means that you can occasionally park very close to their resting spots and use the vehicle as a hide. Of course, having a large factor zoom lens and a high quality camera help also. I wrote an article on photographing birds for the newsletter/blog a while ago but it has not been published yet.
