Description:

Eastern box turtles are highly variable in shell shape, color and pattern. Range along the entire east coast of the United States. Lives on land. Eats animals and plants. Found in forests and meadows where there is moisture

Habitat:

Spotted on a sandy soil path in a pine forest. Fresh Pond, Delaware Seashore State Park, Bethany Beach Delaware.
