We have a platform that my husband built so we could feed the toucans bananas, but the tayra has been coming to help himself.

When you think you've seen all the mammals in the world, just come to NOAH and you'll find something new!! This is a new one for me! It looks kind of like a badger or a weasel, but if you look at the last photo of him shimmying down the post, he looks just like an otter!! Great shots of a beautiful animal!!

Fascinating, had no idea these existed. From the weasel family apparently.....
Haha yeah, tayras are like that :) I've added the scientific name and also two reference links to Encyclopedia of Life and Wikipedia.
