Hi mwarren and welcome to Project Noah. If these have roots then they are likely plants so would be in the plants category. If they did not have roots they would probably be Lichens. Since you have more than one organism here (I see grasses) in the description box you could describe in more detail the actual organism you are posting it as to help others identify it for you. Give an idea of width and length of stems and describe any leaves with the size, shape, grouping, etc.
