Habitat:

In the thick jungle along the Cuyabeno River, north East Ecuador

Notes:

On a boat ride down the Cuyabeno river, in the Cuyabeno National Park, we came across a troup of monkeys in the trees on one side of the river. We watched them cross the river, one by one, by jumping from the trees on one side, to the trees on the other side. Maybe 30 of them jumped across..

actually Argybee that rings a bell. I remember the Naturalist telling us what it was and I thought I'd remember 'cos it was such a simple name. I should know better by now! But squirrel monkey, it could be. Golly, you've got this reference thing down... to pick it from a silhouette so far off - that's pretty good...

Yes, Sachin, it was quite breath-taking. It was a long jump, and they used the branches as a springboard!
