Description:

Never touched it. Cap is about dime sized. Stalk is about 1/2inch tall.

Habitat:

Lake side in rotten tree limb, damp wood.

From this clear but limited perspective, this looks like a Russula species to me. They are many and variable, and I don't know what you have growing there, but that's a start.
