Description:

The wingspan is 64–80 mm. The butterfly flies from April[1] to September[2] (in Europe typically May to August) depending on the location.

Habitat:

The Cardinal (Argynnis pandora) is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is common throughout southern Europe and is also found in northern Africa and western and central Asia.
