Field Notes

Description:

Tan to creamy white cap with brown warts that get more concentrated in the center. About 2.5 in. wide cap roughly textured on top and has gills underneath.

Habitat:

Spotted in a mixed forest, though mostly hardwood in Ouachita mountains.
