Field Notes

Notes:

This frog came into our care a couple of days ago. It has an injured eye and can not be released back into the wild - our local Wildlife Hospital is currently looking for a permanent home for it. No doubt Leuba and Argybee will be please to see that it looks quite 'melted'. ; ) [NOTE: Frogs should not be handled often as they can absorb toxins from our skin - we had this guy up for about a minute to try and feed him as he wasn't eating on his own.]

Martin... objectively, this one is the CUTEST! ; )
Shanna, there is a Chinese proverb... there is only one cutest baby in the world, and every mother has it.
Thanks Leuba, the animals we have in care usually do pretty well. And I'm pretty sure this is the cutest frog I've EVER seen!
here he is again....so cute and so trusting-look at those digits around human fingers! I love his expression in pic #3 ! You guys are doing a great job it seems...
