Description:

This and a Great Horned owl were injured and rescued by park rangers and presented at the Amish Symposium on Birds yesterday. We heard about the Passenger pigeons and good birding practice. Length 41 cm (16 inch) Wingspan 1.1 mtr I42 inch) These are the early morning and late evening hunters I knew as a child in England.

Habitat:

Woodland and marshes - riverine and edge of deserts.
