Field Notes

Description:

pink/maroon coloured moth , very bushy ..white markings on the very edge of wings like stitching , orange antennae ,pointed snout like nose area.

Habitat:

Coastal region 200m from ocean and bay inlet area , dominated gum and eucalypt trees with smaller shrubs

This one is interesting. Most of it looks like a Paralaea sp. maybe P sarcodes but something is wrong with the outer wing margins... (too straight and white dots) Hmmm..... http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/enno/sarcod.html
