@Emily---definitely a compliment.
Glad to hear all is well after your crazy FL wind as well! 50mph wind is no joke either! Keep the pics coming, especially as the babies get older. Supposedly the babies will stay around the nest until fall, even after they are fledged. (At least that's how it is here in CO.) ...and thanks Apple, I'll take that as a compliment! ;D
lovely - he looks like he's had a heavy lunch - very sweet
That is soooo sweet :)))
Great job..Christine... These Owls are very beautiful... and with Nest and juvenile.. is learning lesson for me.. Thanks for sharing..!!
Thanks all! Emily: there were gust up to 50MPH yesterday at the site. I could hardly stand still to take the photo. The owls seemed all snuggled and comfy though.
Excellent. So cool, taking a snooze. @Emily--everytime I see your icon, I think of Terri Hatcher from Desperate Housewives. You really resemble her.
Beautiful, beautiful shots! I'm so jealous! I had two nesting owls in a field near my house. I was gearing up to photograph the hatchlings in about a week, but we had a terrible wind storm (90mph wind gusts) and the wind demolished the nest (nothing was left) and the parents have since moved on. Keep the pictures coming!
both taking an afternoon snooze....how cute! Great capture :)
