Greater Flamingo

Apologies for these shots, the Flamingo was always just beyond the range of my lense. The first photo was taken the day before at our local beach. Then the very next day I spotted the same bird in the middle of a fish farm a couple of miles down the coast. I have never seen one here before, but last year a large group returned to a spot just down the coast in Bodrum where they had been for many years and then had left. So we can only assume that this one wanted a weekend away from the crowd.
