5 mm long brown roach found under a rock.

Habitat:

Woods.

Species ID Suggestions

Are you sure? I would not be so sure that it is Periplaneta americana. Parcoblatta are probably common in your area. I have not seen many American Cockroaches so from what I know this could easily be a American Cockroach.
It's the only one I've found Keith - I have to admit I don't go out of my way to look for cockroaches! I off to Florida for a few days so I will try & find a palmetto bug for you! :)
