Description:

bright green jewel beetle. I spotted of them on the same leaf, see photos 4 and 5, pretty sure about the genus, not sure of the species.

Habitat:

rainforest, 1000m

Notes:

Spotted in Gunung Merapi national park.

Scutelleridae - jewel bugs or metallic shield bugs - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scutelleridae. May be Chrysocoris sp.
