Description:
A. atthis is a bird in the family of Alcedinidae(kingfishers), they usually sit on branches, walls, roofs of buildings or powerlines and wait for prey to reveal themselves, they then launch themselves quickly catching the prey animals whether it is a small fish or insects of various sorts.
Habitat:
Farmland, mixed tropical forest.
