Sorry for poor photo but I am stumped on identifying this little bird. Any help will be gratefully received. - Thanks Jazzman!! now named.

@ Mel....my first thought was sparrow!!! Good luck with your spotting. I will keep an eye open for a better match. That beak....it is telling me something...only I have no idea what! I love your spottings; looking forward to many more.
Thanks Sukanya It looked like a match but the sociable weaver is not found in this location and has a black bib. I thought that it may be a weaver because of the bill shape but cannot find a match. I have looked at finches and seedeaters. At the moment, down as a LBJ which basically means Little Brown Job
Can it be the Sociable Weaver bird? I ask because in all photos I have seen of this bird that is the perch they like..(long shot!) .here is a link https://ebird.org/species/socwea1
