Field Notes

Description:

Large crow pheasant. Fawn or dirty white and rust coloured feathers. Eye is red and "beady". Strong legs.

Habitat:

A pair was foraging on a plot of waste land near the hotel. One immediately disappeared into the bushes, this one gave me half a moment to click. It has a restricted range but appears to be doing OK.(http://www.birdlife.org/datazone/species/factsheet/22684232)

Notes:

First debuted on Project Noah :https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/950166003

This one is another individual.
Also called Brown coucal.
