Description:

The praying mantis is an insect that has a a green and brown color to it, but some may vary. it is a bigger insect then most. Also males can fly and females cannot fly. They have elongated bodies and long legs.

Habitat:

The Praying mantis is found in rainforests, deserts, grasslands, and meadows.

Notes:

Their upright posture with folded forearms that makes them look like they are praying gave them their name.
