Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized Cicada. Mostly black in colour. With dark brown eyes and Brownish legs

Habitat:

I was in my yard when I heard a cicada call and knew it was very close. It took me several minutes to realize that the cicada was sitting on the back of my jeans :-) (as per first pic). Other pics was after I got it off and just before I put it in a tree in my yard.

Nice one, James. I haven't spotted any of these in Brisbane. Hilarious that it was hiding in the last place you would probably think to look. Nature does mess with us sometimes :-D
