Description:

sorry for the poor quality photo, this was the only shot I could get of these 2 flies(?) mating. they are such a unique looking fly, I thought they were worthy of posting.

Habitat:

rainforest, 1000m

Notes:

Spotted in Gunung Merapi national park.
