Description:

Male in breeding plumage.

Habitat:

Spotted along the Umtanum Creek in eastern Washington.

Notes:

They winter in Mexico and show up in Washington State in mid-May.

Thank you Sukanka. I Don find these too often. The males are colorful and have a distinctive call. I hope things improve there soon.
