Photo two also shows a Red Crossbill. I love the scientific name on this bird!

Also do you know that Red cross bills x pine siskin hybrids also occur.
Juvenile resembles Pine Siskin, but it has straight, thinner bill and yellow in the wings. https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Red_Crossbill/id
Yes but the bills aren't crossed, so I don't think that's the case here. I will check my list to see if these could be anything other than Pine siskins, but it might take me a bit to narrow it down.
Juvenile crossbills can also look like pine siskin.
Could be. I have it on my bird list, but I'm terrible at IDing birds.
