Description:

Broad-leaved, thick-stemmed perennial with berries that are green when unripe and dark purple when ripe. Stems are green or dark red. NOT EDIBLE.

Habitat:

Temperate woodlands, fields, roadsides.

Notes:

CAUTION: VERY POISONOUS.
