Field Notes

Description:

Constructed cocoon of small near identical sized twigs . Occupant still inside

Habitat:

Was attached to the leaf of a wild blackberry bush near the river's edge.

YES! haven't been down to the river at Perth for awhile , and the blackberry bush is everywhere , really have to watch yourself , used to be able to walk into a small island area in the middle , good place to sit and wait for birds ..but not at present the bush has taken over.
On blackberry !!? Wouldn't it be wonderful if they could learn to use it.
