Description:

Yellow with transparent wings. The "tail" is not so long, nor the head is quite beak shaped.

Habitat:

Back yard in a lemon tree.

You're welcome Jorge. It was nice to see a photo of a live specimen. I've only seen preserved specimens and drawings before.
Thanks oxyjack, I changed the name
The patterned wings and the antennae suggest it's a fruit fly (Family Tephritidae) not a Scorpionfly (Order Mecoptera). This is a true fly, and Scorpionflies are not. That's a very cool photo, I've never seen one quite like that before.
