Mine is also very shy, a small movement and it is gone. It only comes when I feed the birds and only for a very short time each time. Actually I saw one yesterday, but didn't get a shot ;-)
Ooh, just love this bird! Still I haven't got one nice shot of it.
Thank you LauraMaria :) I am very found of them too, maybe because they don't visit my garden very often, and of course because of the colours :) I haven't seen any this winter...
Oh lovely photos, Jeanette! There are a few of these where I live, but every time I see them, I don't have my camera! They're lovely birds though :)
@ Nopayahnah, yes I like it to, the birds around here are normally not so colourful :)
