Great Blue Heron

The Great Blue Heron is a large wading bird in the heron family Ardeidae, It's head-to-toe length is 91-137cm, a wingspan of 167-201cm, a height of 115-138cm, and a weight of 2.1-3.6kg. Some notable features of the Great Blue Heron include slaty flight feathers, red-brown thighs, and a paired red-brown and black stripe up the flanks; the neck is rusty-gray; with black and white streaking down the front; the head is paler with a nearly white face; and the bill is dull yellowish. The Grey heron also shares the same environment as the Great Blue Heron. Beavers and the Great Blue heron share a symbiotic relationship, they share mutualism so they both benefit. The beaver builds a dam and collects lots of water which benefits them, and all the water means more fish for the Great Blue Herons to eat.
