fruit chafer scarab

This scarab appears to belong in the subfamily Cetoniinae, the fruit or flower chafer beetles (sometimes also called June beetles, but scarabs from other subfamilies are also called June beetles, so this common name is misleading). I can't give you a genus or species, but the flattened body shape and broad shouldered appearance are definitely features of the Cetoniinae.
