Field Notes

Description:

Approximately 40 foot Whale Shark. Largest fish on the planet.
Filter feeder.

Habitat:

Marine, warm tropical waters.

Notes:

The Whale Sharks were in early that year. We were lucky to get a chance to snorkel with it. The shark kept swimming right under the boat, close enough to touch, but we did not. What an amazing experience.
