Eastern Box Turtle

Concavity doesn't really work in eastern box turtles. Sometimes males show a little concavity, but it not really present because of their plastron design i.e. their hinge.

Actually, ones with yellow eyes are most often immature males. I've witnessed captive specimens change from brown to yellow to red after they were a few years old. The red eyes for males and brown for females is correct though.
