Field Notes

Description:

Head and body flattened with skin flaps on side of head and chin. Dorsal fins or roughly the same size. Generally mottled brown with indication of darker brown bars or saddles. Reaches up to 63 cm.

Habitat:

Northern Australia and New Guinea.

Notes:

Found on a night dive. Was sitting in a hole in the coral with just its head out.
