So cute, & he looks very young - does he still have blue eyes or is it a reflection from the carrier? I wonder what happened to his mom.
Awww....poor little fella. Well at least your husband was able to get him to some place safe. Playing in or near traffic is never a good idea.
Yes, he was abandoned. My husband was a state wildlife biologist at the time. He had been getting calls for a couple of days of a cub playing close to a major road. After observing the cub for a couple of days he decided it was in the best interest of the cub to go to the state near rehab center.
