Description:

The raja shelduck or radjah shelduck (Tadorna radjah), also known as the Burdekin duck in Australia, is a species of shelduck.

Habitat:

Phillip Island Wildlife Park.

Burdekin ducks mainly keep to brackish waters, mud banks and mangrove-fringed mouths of tropical rivers. During the wet season they also visit inland freshwater swamps and lagoons.
