Field Notes

Description:

Small brown agamid lizard, 7 - 8 cm in body length; with a twice as long tail. Very long hind legs.

Habitat:

Ground-dwelling insectivorous lizard endemic to Sri Lanka; here seen in forest on lower altitude, south of the island.
