Field Notes

Description:

Small, orange and black with reddish tinted, large eyes that are close together, back legs noticeably longer than the front two pairs of legs

Habitat:

Garden at Blarney Castle in Ireland

Notes:

I didn't know about hoverflies until I started looking into what this was (the eyes seemed wrong for a honeybee)
