I guess that makes sense Liam. Other than the feet, the blueish color had me thinking it was something else, but now I think it's just the way the lighting was that day. Thanks!
Ruby-crowned Kinglets (Regulus calendula) can be mistaken for Hutton's Vireo (Vireo huttoni), which look very similar. However, I think this is a Ruby-crowned Kinglet based on the small bill and pale feet, as well as the bright green on the primaries. The feet aren't actually black, if you look closely. I think the color is just worn.
A lovely picture of a real sweetie. Those legs look so fragile !!
