Field Notes

Notes:

House Sparrows were introduced to Victoria in the late 1800s and are now everywhere (except Western Australia where they have successfully stopped the spread by killing sparrows on sight). Ironically, the species has declined by 62% in the UK over the last 25 years and is now red-listed as a species of high conservation concern.
