Oops, sorry for the french. I mean: what would you say about Hypoleria lavinia?
Que diriez-vous de Hypoleria lavinia? http://www.learnaboutbutterflies.com/Amazon%20-%20Hypoleria%20lavinia.htm
It is not Greta morgane oto and I even have some doubts about Greta sp.. If the 4th patch on the right side (in your shot) is separated meaning has an additional vein than it is definitely not Greta. But I can't see it really, I think it might be an additional line there. What do you think?
A match I found is Greta oto, but Wiki says "Adults range from Mexico through Panama.[2] The Greta oto may also be found in Venezuela, as there are photographs taken in the mountain area around Caracas." So I don't know if it's within range.
Hi Cecilia. Actually, it was my six year daughter who takes this picture ! She is totally crazy about butterflies ! It´s the first time we have ever seen this kind of butterfly too.
