Field Notes

Description:

A single, flattish, cone shaped gall on the mid-line of a eucalyptus leaf (possibly E ovata?) with a strikingly red coloured base and waxy 'snow' near the top. About 12mm tall, 4mm thick and 9mm wide.

Habitat:

In a local national park.
