Field Notes

Description:

This is a pink and white flower that has red seeds that look similar to pomegranate seeds. The leaves around it were thicker than a usually leaf, so I am assuming that it was the seed that the flower had just sprouted from. They were green and round, and they have a waxy feeling, along with the petals of the flower.

Habitat:

I found it in kind of a bunch of other flowers of the same species. It was on the ground in the dirt, because it had fallen off of a high tree that was way up high. This flower lives in the SAS secondary tropical rainforest .
