Field Notes
Description:
Although it is named the Earwig, it has nothing to do with ears or wigs.
This one might be a female because it's tail or pincers does not look very big or complex.
Length slightly less than 2cm.
Body colors: black, light and dark brown.
This one might be a flyable species because there seems to be wing sacs on it's back.
Habitat:
Vegetations of Kinabalu Park, Kundasang, Sabah.
Notes:
This is the only picture that I managed to take because it run very fast and escaped from sight before I could take another photograph.
I cannot afford to search for it after it escaped because I was walking with my families and I have to keep on catching up in order not to be left behind.
