Description:

其花大而艷麗，但無法結果。2005年研究證實它非獨立物種，是紅花羊蹄甲(Bauhinia purpurea) 跟宮粉羊蹄甲(Bauhinua variegata) 的混種, 因花粉敗育導致受精過程無法完成。
