Description:

Field Crickets are brown and black in color, about 1/2" - 1" long and have six legs and long antennae. Crickets are interesting in that the males chirp in order to attract a female and once one male starts, they all join in.

Habitat:

Field Crickets are common in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. They lives in the ground in tall grass or piles of lawn debris.
