Metalmark Moth

Choreutidae; Choreutinae; Saptha sp. nr. divitiosa. This is my first spotting of this Saptha sp. I have spotted some other Metalmark Moths before, but the ones I am familiar with do not have the wing shape or antennae type of this one. So, I went searching for Micro-moths, Fly Mimicking Moths and one or two other wrong ideas. Of course, because I was on the wrong track and looking in the wrong places, I wasn't making any progress. So, out of desperation, I decided to try Google Lens (I had previously tried it a few times, but never got a good result). This time, it was amazing. I immediately saw a thumbnail picture of a little moth like mine which was called "Saptha divitiosa" on Wikipedia. It was so easy, this time. A little more checking led me to the fact that S. divitiosa is not documented as present in the Philippines, but my old favourite website, Philippine Lepidoptera gave me exactly what I needed to know - Saptha sp. nr. divitiosa.
